Please note that the above report has been generated using historical election results only, and does not take into consideration whether parties have a history of honouring their pledges. It also does not take into consideration any recent national or local polling which may take place running up to the election.

Note also, the report doesn't take into consideration the number of votes which could be transferred when a candidate changes party and voters follow the candidate, rather than the party - this will be the subject of a further update to the tool.

Method

The previous election results are analysed, and are treated as a 'what could happen' scenario. Each of the election results are sorted into the preference order identified above, and the best win is searched for, usign out-right-win, wins taking swing/tactical voting into consideration.
